Home page: optimise for which browsers (IE 4+ , Netscape Navigator 4+, Opera) and for monitors of which resolution (800 x 600).

· An option to add the web site to the Favorites folder of the visitor's browser.

Company profile page : Enclosed find our company details including its history + photo of office + photo of plant.

Products page : This page should have links to all our product category pages (or directly have information on all the products)

Product category web pages: each should have the attached photographs and descriptions.Should have an 'Add to Cart' icon next to each. On clicking a product, an enlarged photo of the product should open up.

Contact us page: Please add our street address, phone, fax and email id to this page.

Log-in page : should have an option to log-in by entering log-in id and password: When the user presses 'Go' , the database of registered users should be checked for these entries. If a matching entry is found, then the user should be logged in and taken to the page that was last visited else be taken back to the log-in page with an Incorrect id/password message.

Should have an option for a password reminder if the user has forgotten password. This would open a page that asks the user to enter his login id. If a matching entry is found, then an email is sent to the user telling him his password and a message to that effect is displayed at the site.

If a matching entry is not found, then incorrect login-id message is shown over the forgot password page. The register option on this page should lead to the 'Registration Form' page.

Registration Form page: This web page should have a form asking the user for various details (required to keep a track of those sending RFQs). Each of the form fields should have specific validation, for instance the email field must check that the user has entered both the characters '@' and '.' in the field and they are not at the beginning or the end - this would help ensure that no junk is entered.

On submitting the form, the user details should get stored in the database, a session id should be created for him and an appropriate thank you message is displayed.If it is found that the database already contains a record with this login id, then a message is displayed to the user to enter a new id.

The form also should have a checkbox option for Newsletter subscription. If the user has selected this, then the database of newsletter subscribers is also updated. Two, an appropriate thank you message is displayed, with an option to view the Newsletter Archives. Three, a copy of the latest newsletter is sent to the subscriber.

• Channel Partners page: Enclosed find the various FAQs. Give a link from this page to the Business Associate Application Form.
  
• Business Associate Application Form page: If the visitor is logged in as a registered user, then it should pick up the details already present in the database for this user and show against the appropriate fields. This would ensure that the user does not have to fill in fields he had already filled, say 6 months ago. For other fields, it should perform validations. On submitting the form, it would be sent as an e-mail to sales@mycompany.com.
  
• Associates page: should have links to our suppliers. customers websites. Enclosed find there names and website addresses.
  
• Newsletter page: should have a 'Subscribe to Newsletter' link - which opens a form asking for the 'e-mail address' of the subscriber. If this address is already present in the subscribers' list, then an error message is displayed.
  If it is a new address, then, the address is added to the database, a Thank you page is displayed.
  Other links on the Newsletter page should include- a link to the latest Newsletter and a link to the Newsletter Archives page.
  
• Archives page: should show a list of the various old Newsletters by the name of their dates. By default, it must display the contents of the current Newsletter.
  
• Refer to Associates link: would open up a page that has a form asking for upto 5 email addresses of those whom the site is to be referred to, sender's name and e-mail address and his message. After performing the usual form field validations, the form contents would be emailed to the concerned addresses.
  
• Add to Favorites link: adds the website to the user's browser's favorites folder. It should use our site icon and not the usual IE logo against the site name.
  
• List registered users page : to be used by us. Should show a list of all registered with their details. We need an option here to delete a user from the database.
  
• Newsletter write and send page: to be used by us. Should give an option to enter the subject and message. On pressing the 'Send' button, the message should be e-mailed to all the newsletter subscribers.
  
  
  An unsubscribe option should be added in the newsletter with a link to unsubscribe. This link should cause this email address to be deleted from our database.
  
  Add to Cart option against every product description and photograph. On clicking this, the user should be taken to his cart where item code, description, quantity orderd, rate should get displayed. an option to delete an item from the cart should also be given at this stage.

  When the user checks out, he should be given the option to print the order and send it to us (by fax or through our website).
