Application: Alumni Networking & Job Website

Industry: Education

Aim: To design a website to help  alumni of a UK based university interact with each other and also help each other in finding the right jobs

Background: Our client sought our services for the designing and development of an interactive website for their alumni. The basic purpose of the portal was to offering the student who had passed out a networking forum and hence a means to stay in touch with each other on a regular basis. The site had to have features that would enable a high user engagement like forums, scrap books, academic directory and other information useful for the alumni along with information and links that would help them find jobs.
The client's list of requirements also featured advanced search, commission based referral of students, job classifieds, events, blogs, etc. They also wanted an effective CMS integrated into the website design for easy management of the content of the website.

Objectives: Some of the objectives that lay ahead of the development team were:
Content Management system integration
Highly robust system design
Delivering an engaging social networking site with rich features

Solution: Our web development team designed an online networking site achieving all the objectives mentioned above. The website design provides an interactive admin section with enhanced accessibility for the administrator. The administrator can effectively manage the content and the profiles of the users on the website with CMS integrated into the website design. The user section of the website offers a feature-rich interface, providing the students with a spectrum of information useful to them and a wide range of networking options to engage them.
