Server space/ Webspace/Disk Space:
refers to how much storage space is booked for a particular
site on the server. It refers to the space on the server
where all the files and graphics related to website
are kept, where databases are uploaded and where the
email accounts are setup.
Data Transfer
Data Transfer (bandwidth) refers to the amount of data
that can be downloaded by visitors to your site. Given
an average web page size of 15k, 3GB of data transfer
would be enough to allow for over 20,000 page downloads
every month
POP3 E-mail Accounts: A POP3 E-mail
account provides a separate user name / password access
to an e-mail address within a domain. Useful, if you
want individuals or departments in your organization
to have their independent mail accounts that can also
be set up on their desktop PCs.
E-Mail Forwarding: This feature also
automatic redirection of a mail sent to a particular
email account set up on a domain to anoter account which
is not on the same domain. Thus, an e-mail forward is
an address like info@abccompany.com that gets routed
by mail server to an account like abc@vsnl.com.
E-Mail Aliases: An e-mail alias allows
multiple addresses within a domain to deliver e-mail
to the same POP3 account. For example, an
email sent to info@abccompany.com could be routed to,
say sales@abccompany.com POP3 account.
E-Mail Auto Responders: These can
be set to automatically a pre-defined message to senders
of messages to a particular email account on a domain.
An autoresponder responds immediately to a message that
is delivered to the Inbox of this account.
Web Based E-Mail Client: allows e-mail
to be checked from a web based form. On entering a web
address like: http://webmail.yourcompany.com, into the
address bar of your browser, you would be asked for
the username and password of the account that you wish
to access. Once verified, the screen would show inbox,
outbox, addressbook, message composition form et al.
FTP Accounts: enable restricted access
to an account. FTP allows a user to upload / download
files from an account.
FTP Usage: refers to the total amount
of FTP uploads. There is no restriction or upper limit
on the FTP usage.
Custom 404 / Not Found: Custom 404
/ Not Found pages allow you to customize the page that
visitors see when they try to access a page that doesn't
exist on the server.
Sub Domains: We allow you unlimited
subdomains.
